About Sifu Vincent Lyn
Sifu Lyn (Ling Wing Shi) is the 22nd generation of the famous Ling lineage, the first person to ever teach Ling Gar outside the family dating back to the sytle's origin in the early 1300's. He is probably best known for his co-starring role in Jackie Chan's "Operation Condor". He has also worked in 25 other films as actor, stuntman and/or choreographer (some considered among the greatest martial arts movies ever made). Sifu Lyn is the last living master authorized to teach Ling Gar having also trained extensively in Tai Chi Ch'uan, Qi Gong, Hung Gar, Choy Li Fut, Hung Kuen, and Wing Chun. As well as being a national (1983 and 1984) and international (1985 & 1987) kickboxing champion.

The National Soki Council selected Vincent as "Man of the Year" for 1998, making him one of the youngest members ever inducted into its Martial Arts Master, Pioneers, Legends Hall of Fame. He was the only person inducted into the 1998 World Martial Arts Hall of Fame of the Legendary World Soki Council in two separate categories: "Most Outstanding Kung-Fu Master Instructor" and "Most Outstanding Martial Arts Actor".

In 1999, he received his Ph.D. as Professor of Martial Sciences/Sports Medicine and has bestowed upon him the title "Si-Tai Gung", i.e. 10th Degree Black Sash and Grandmaster of his family's Chinese Martial Arts system, Ling Gar. In 2000, Lyn was inducted into the World Wide Martial Arts Hall of Fame for "Master Instructor of the Year". In 2001, he received the Diamond Lifetime Achievement Award from the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame awards. In June 2002, Lyn was inducted into the World Wide Martial Arts Hall of Fame for "Martial Arts Film Legend".


Brendan Stote
For over thirteen years Brendan Stote has been perfecting the art of Kung Fu. His most recent accomplishment and most cherished is being the 2006 World Martial Arts Fame Recipient. Continously working under Grandmaster Vincent Lyn, Brendan has earned a second-degree black sash in Ling Gar Kung Fu. With a certification from Jim Wagner in knife and crime survival training, Brendan is diversified in the arts. This includes his practice in Boxing, Kickboxing, Jujitsu, and Wrestling. He is a also a contestant in "Strong Man" competitions.

Brendan currently attends Norwalk Community College, majoring in exercise physiology, and works part-time as a personal trainer, working with the elderly. During the summer, he is the Martial Art Director for a summer camp in Greenwich, CT. His past experience includes conducting weekly adult sessions in Kung Fu in Norwalk, CT. This diversity has made him passionate about teaching all ages. He has certification in CPR and First Aid from the American Heart Association and the American Safety & Health Institute.


Charles Caviola
Charles Caviola was born in Greenwich, CT in 1981. At the age of five he began his training in the Martial Arts and at age ten he received his black belt in the Korean art of Tang Soo Do. During this time Charles received an award of achievement from the President of the United State as well as placing with high standing in many tournaments.

At the same time Charles began training under Sifu Vincent Lyn where he bacame one of the youngest students to receive a black sash and become an assistant intructor. While under the tutelage of Sifu Lyn, Charles has competed in some well accredited tournaments such as the Chinatown Invitational, and the Triple Crown Internationals at Madison Square Garden where he ranked in the top five among forty other competitors in the advanced class. He was also a headline performer at the World Wide Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2001.

During all of this Charles has been able to receive his B.A. in communications from Iona College and is currently pursuing his masters. Charles is also a certified personal trainer.
